Join a welcoming and dynamic family in Miami, FL, as a dedicated Homeschool Teacher for two bright and curious children, aged 8 and 6. This part-time role offers the unique opportunity to create a personalized learning environment that fosters both academic growth and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development and Instruction:
Develop and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum.
Provide instruction in core subjects (Math, Science, English, Social Studies).
Incorporate creative teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.
Learning Environment:
Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Utilize various educational resources, including technology, to enhance learning in English and Spanish.
Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Provide constructive feedback and work with parents to support children’s educational goals.
Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding curriculum and children’s progress.
Collaborate with parents to ensure educational objectives align with family values and expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Prior experience in teaching or homeschooling, preferably with children in similar age groups.
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate educational strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to design creative and engaging lesson plans.
Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
Must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
