Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative, energetic Lead Teacher to facilitate our music, art, and play classes. The ideal candidate is responsible, takes initiative, loves working with young children and caregivers, and has a fun and engaging presence. They should feel comfortable leading songs, interactive activities, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead music, art, and play classes using provided lesson plans.
Sing nursery rhymes and lead interactive songs with enthusiasm.
Engage children and parents with a warm, energetic teaching style.
Take initiative by adapting activities when needed and ensuring smooth class flow.
Assist with light lesson planning and classroom setup.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
Schedule:
Training: Mondays and Fridays, 9 AM - 1 PM
Teaching: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (or two out of three), 9 AM - 1 PM
Saturday rotation required
Opportunity for additional hours with birthday party events on weekends
Qualifications:
Responsible, self-motivated, and able to take initiative
Experience working with young children (preferred but not required)
Comfortable singing nursery rhymes and leading interactive songs
Creative, enthusiastic, and reliable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ideal for college students studying Early Childhood Education or related fields
