Service Department Responsibilities
Outstanding attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and strong work ethic
Complete work orders, sales invoices, rental contracts, coordinate repairs, create parts orders , incoming bids and purchase orders.
Liaise with lead mechanic to ensure efficient work order flow and provide customers with work order status updates
Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
Monitor status of orders and maintain a variety spreadsheets for upper management
Receive orders
Ensure incoming orders are sorted, allocated to the appropriate job/customer/warehouse location
Maintain inventory counts
Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
Other duties as assigned
Service Requirements/Qualifications:
Very proficient in spoken and written English. Spanish is an asset.
A minimum of 1 years of service desk experience in a relevant field (lawn and garden, hardware stores, automotive, construction equipment)
Exceptional customer service and listening skills
Valid driver’s license
Weekends and National holidays OFF
