Yalla Market is looking for a Head Cashier to join our team in Dania Beach! We are a local supermarket & restaurant specializing in AUTHENTIC Middle Eastern products, foods, pastries & baked goods. Yalla market is renowned for its outstanding food & its legendary customer service.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE: FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE, GOOD WITH CX, GOOD AT MULTITASKING, A responsible, energetic individual with a pleasant attitude who enjoys interacting with customers. The successful candidate must be trustworthy, have 1+ years of experience working as a Cashier or Customer Service Associate, and will be capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also have 1+ year background in customer service.
This position is full time or part time

Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service.
Process daily transactions accurately, quickly, and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records by recording transactions in our computer system.
Report any problem with customers or staff to manager
Manage the opening of the store.
Ensure the store is kept clean, organized, and stocked regularly.
Participate in our inventory control program to ensure that all products are in stock and available to our customers.
Answer questions from store customers either on the phone or in person.
Take customer orders
Restock items on shelves / Facing items on shelves
Verify Product expirations
Greet customers in a friendly manner.
Notify manager of any items customers are requesting & items stock count low
At opening: Mop / Broom, Clean tables, clean windows & glass displays from outside, clean bathroom, insure store clean and ready to receive customers.
Train new cashier on proper procedures & operation
Insure items are labeled & priced properly on shelve and stock count matches
Requirements & skills:
Must be comfortable with hot & cold temperatures and lifting cases of 15lb.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United states
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize duties.
Must be highly reliable & trust worthy
