Warehouse Manager - POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the financial and physical management of all material inventory as well as the day to day operations of a diverse inventory warehouse. Responsible for ongoing inventory optimization, controls, analysis, security and reporting with an emphasis on continuous improvement and inventory performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures

Coordinates inbound and/or outbound activities.

Responsible for accurate inventory and productivity levels

Manages documentation and flow of goods through warehouse.

Ensure that operational resources, including equipment and human talent, are properly allocated in relation to daily operational needs.

Perform high-level labor-allocation analysis in order to ensure efficient and cost-effective labor distribution. Provide on-going monitoring for compliance to budgetary objectives.

Ensure that staff levels are appropriate based on the given amount of production and that they are in align with the overall budget for the facility.

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Coordinate the efforts of Customer Service and Operations personnel to ensure that client orders are effectively satisfied.

Liaise between subordinate staff and senior management to ensure organizational goals and objectives are effectively communicated and met.

Oversee all administrative processes within the distribution center to include generation of shift, labor, and operational reports.

Ensure that all work in carried out in compliance with all company safety and operational standards. Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all associates.

Conduct annual reviews for all direct reports.

Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Receive and verify incoming product; enter into computer system.

Load and unload shipments.

Accurate pulling/packing of the more complex to advanced orders for both shipping and will call customer pick-up.

Assist in counting of physical inventory.

Utilize shipping software to prepare outbound shipments.

Operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift.

Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Lead special assignments or projects during peak periods.

Provide leadership direction to lower level Warehouse associates.

Requirements:

Detail Oriented.

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to operate a PC, especially to apply inventory software and programs.

Skills and effectiveness to manage time to meet required deadlines.

Strong communication skills.
