Are you a consultant or independent contractor? We're a startup doing research on how consultants/independent contractors find and manage work.
We're looking for (REQUIREMENTS):
- Consultants or Independent Contractors in ANY field (marketing, business strategy, HR, etc.)
- Currently actively working with clients (not just starting out or aspiring to be one)
- English as a first language
- Florida residents only
- Have a working laptop and able to do a Zoom video call with video on
- Willing to do a 30-minute video call to share your experiences and give feedback
What we'll talk about:
- How you currently find and manage clients
- Your biggest challenges running your freelance business
- Tools you use (or wish existed) for proposals, invoicing, follow-ups
- Quick feedback on a product concept
Compensation:
$50 via Venmo/Cashapp/Amazon Gift Card immediately after the call
When:
- Flexible scheduling this week and next week
- Calls done via Zoom/Google Meet

This is legitimate user research for a funded startup. Not selling anything - just want to learn from your experience to build something actually useful. If you do not meet the requirements above and are caught lying then we will end the call immediately without payment. We are doing research and dishonesty defeats the purpose.
