Maintenance Technician Level 3

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise up to five (5) inmates during maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to guidelines.Perform advanced maintenance tasks and provide technical expertise to the team.Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Plan, delegate, and oversee daily maintenance operations to meet organizational goals.Drive and operate commercial vehicles with air brakes as required for maintenance activities.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and inmate performance.Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments using cell phone and other designated methods.Wear a uniform identifying the supervisory role and serve as the primary point of contact during maintenance operations.
