Payroll Specialist

Description We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Doral, Florida. As a Payroll Specialist, your primary role will be to manage the full cycle of payroll processes and maintain accurate and up-to-date records. This role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setting following a period of training. This role presents a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently manage the full cycle of payroll processes across multiple states. Use UKG and other accounting software systems to process payroll. Maintain accurate records of payroll and employee data. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations. Liaise with employees and management to resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues. Handle benefit functions related to payroll. Continuously monitor and update payroll systems as necessary. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all accounting functions are carried out effectively. Regularly update knowledge of multistate payroll laws and regulations. Ensure confidentiality and security of all payroll information.Requirements Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems Experience in handling Accounting Functions Familiarity with Auditing procedures and practices Knowledge of Benefit Functions and related processes Ability to manage Multistate Payroll Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
