DescriptionOur client is seeking a Technician to provide engineering and build support for current products for its nanomachining, laser based, and cryogenic cleaning products.Key Responsibilities: Build, test & trouble shoot complex sub and system level assemblies.o Build, setup & debug mechanical and optical using mechanical prints.o Build, setup, test & debug pneumatic assemblies using pneumatic schematics.o Build, setup, test & debug electrical assemblies using electrical schematics.o Build assemblies with tolerances less than .001”.o Provide and document timely feedback to Engineering department on issues encountered during build processes. Perform and document incoming inspection of parts or assemblies to written procedures. Create or update manufacturing or quality documentation/procedures. Support engineering through system level troubleshooting. Perform installation of products at customer sites, both domestic and international. Perform and document final testing of the equipmentSkillsassembly, troubleshooting, electronics, Electro mechanical, Schematic, Repair, Mechanical assembly, Hand tool, Pneumatics, ElectricalTop Skills Detailsassembly,troubleshooting,electronicsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMust: Minimum 4 years’ experience within mechanical or electronic assembly and testing Experience reading blueprintsPneumatic and optical strongly preferred Know how to use calipers and micrometers Experience with Functionality Testing Some sort of machinery assembly and testingcomplex circuits and machinery strongly preferred Experience reading schematics and build sheetsPlus: Experience with Soldering ISO background Able to build cables Experience in a manufacturing or build technician position in the semiconductor industry. Experience with AFM and nanomachining technologies. Must have demonstrated experience with MSWord & Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with sales support and customer skills. Must have basic understanding of MRP systems.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
