Assists with Performing drilling services and well installations by operating drilling equipment to bore exploratory vertical holes into the earth to evaluate soil type and strength characteristics
May operates misc. equipment such as pneumatic jackhammers for breaking of concrete and operation of water/steam pressure washers to wash the drilling equipment, rods, augers, bits, casings, trucks, and trailers
Performs manual labor by assembling and disassembling equipment
Cleans trucks and drill rigs
Gets equipment together for that day’s projects.
Assists Driller whenever necessary.
Follows safety procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to work outdoors in extreme conditions
Must be able to perform manual labor as described in the job description
Valid Driver's License
Open availability including nights and weekends.
The role is travel-based to all of Palm Beach County, FL.
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 40HR HAZWOPER
Valid CDL A or B
Licensed Water Well Contractor
Two years of prior experience with assisting soils drilling
