Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Delray Beach, Florida. This role is within the real estate development industry and will offer a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with other accounting duties as needed.Responsibilities: Process approximately 100 to 150 invoices daily with precision and efficiency. Utilize accounting software systems to enter AP invoices and maintain accurate records. Handle utility AP processing using a specialized utility database. Assist with the transition of roles within the accounting department as needed, such as scanning and entering different types of invoices. Ensure accurate account coding for all processed invoices. Perform regular auditing of accounts payable records and transactions. Provide support to other roles within the accounting department as necessary.Requirements Proficient with full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) processing Proficiency in Account Coding Experience with Accounting Software Systems Experience in the Real Estate - Developers industry a plus, not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel Ability to handle confidential information with discretionRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
