Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Deerfield Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be expected to perform a variety of accounting tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions, general ledger entries, and month-end close procedures.Responsibilities: Handle the processing of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions efficiently and accurately. Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy. Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect the company's financial transactions. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring the accuracy of information and timely completion. Participate in the month-end close process, preparing necessary documentation and reports. Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Ensure all financial data adheres to current tax laws and company policies. Review and verify the accuracy of financial statements and transactions. Collaborate with other team members to achieve accurate and timely accounting information. Execute additional tasks as needed within the accounting department.
