Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in Daytona Beach, Florida, for a Sr. Accountant in the Amusement/Entertainment industry. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for managing revenue contracts, performing month-end close duties, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.Responsibilities Manage and review multiple revenue contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Assess the impact of revenue accounting in accordance with the company’s revenue recognition policies and US GAAP standards. Oversee the revenue recognition process for contracts, including determining necessary journal entries, allocations, and adjustments to guarantee accurate revenue reporting during monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close cycles. Conduct regular reviews of assigned revenue and contract-related liability and expense accounts to ensure proper recording at month-end. Prepare account reconciliations for review and approval. Record royalty and other usage-based revenue items. Assist with Sub License reporting, ensuring calculations are accurate and overseeing the payment process. Prepare royalty calculation reports and distribute relevant data to the appropriate teams. Support the integration of data from external sales systems, both automated and manual, and perform reconciliations between these systems.
