Performs computations. Medical Assistants are multiskilled health professionals responsible for performing administrative and clinical tasks in our primary care facilities while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining positive patient engagement.Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications:
Must have 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience in 'back-office' direct patient care
Medical Assistant diploma or certificate of completion from a Medical Assisting program
Current CPR certification
Phlebotomy experience
Preferred Qualifications:
An active Certified Medical Assistant/CMA or Registered Medical Assistant/RMA certification from one of the following organizations: AAMA, AMT, ARMA, MedCa, NAHP, NAHT, NCCT, NHA or AAH
Experience with HEDIS and ICD/CPT coding
Experience with Electronic Medical Records
Experience in a fast paced/high volume environment
