Keystone Movers is looking for drivers and helpers for the upcoming busy moving season. We do Local moves as well as Long Distance relocations. This job requires a lot of hard work, customer service, driving, lifting, and sometimes requires long hours.
We are based out of Daytona Beach, with our main office and warehouse located in Holly Hill.
Transportation is required for this job. We need to be able to count on you to get to and from the warehouse on your own.
Do you have experience driving 26ft box trucks, pull-behind trailers or possibly semis? Please let us know if you have a CDL.
Do you have experience preparing furniture to be moved? Using furniture blankets, shrink wrap, moving rubber bands, brown tape, packaging glass, etc are all necessary skills to complete the job.
Do you have customer service experience? Calling and talking to customers before and on the job are necessary skills. These customers are dealing with one of the most stressful situations in their lives: moving. It is essential that you can provide a calming experience and make them feel at ease. They've likely talked to a lot of different people (sales people, managers, customer service) before you arrived. So you have to be able to stay calm in these situations.
Ideally, you will have all of this experience. But if not, training will be provided. Training will be on the fly on jobs most likely or during warehouse hours either loading or unloading.
Pay scale depends on what you do and your experience. Our full time long distance drivers make around $1500-2000 weekly when they work 2-3 weeks out of the month. Local/warehouse pay starts at $20/hr if you have experience.
