Job Description: As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components and structures according to specifications and blueprints. You will work with a range of materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, ensuring all projects meet the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
-Perform welding on a variety of metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, using MIG and TIG welding
techniques. Primary welding technique is MIG.
-Fit, assemble, and fabricate metal components, including cutting, grinding, and shaping parts to meet specifications.
-Conduct quality checks to ensure that all welded and fabricated components meet the required standards.
-Operate welding and fabrication equipment, such as welders, grinders, saws, and cutting torches, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
-Collaborate with project manager to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
-Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures or equipment as required.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator with a minimum of 1 year.
-Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG and TIG) and fabrication methods.
-Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Valid Drivers License.
