Shifts Available: Monday - Sunday, 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM (7 hours with 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Welcome to Trailblazing Canvassers, a 25-year-old company that has successfully qualified 75 ballot measures across 18 states. We are currently working on a voter contact project for Josh Weil, a congressional candidate in Florida’s 6th Congressional District. We are seeking dedicated campaign liaisons and canvassers to educate voters about Josh Weil and engage in critical grassroots work.
Job Description:
As a General Election Canvasser, your primary responsibility will be to knock on doors and engage with registered voters to educate them about Josh Weil. You will distribute campaign literature, gather voter data, and directly represent the candidate’s platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Knock on doors, engage in meaningful conversations with voters, and distribute campaign literature.
Gather voter data on their interest in Josh Weil.
Ensure all data is accurately recorded following campaign protocols.
Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
Report to the office for end-of-day data reporting.
House Rules:
Maintain professional conduct—no political attire or distracting items.
Regular check-ins with the Canvass Director every 2 hours.
Follow safety guidelines when smoking or taking breaks.
Adhere to strict accuracy when gathering and reporting data—misrepresentation is grounds for termination.
Damaged or stolen company property may result in full reimbursement deducted from your paycheck.
Appearance matters—wear provided campaign gear and maintain a neat appearance.
Training & Support:
You will receive comprehensive training and have ongoing support from your supervisor to ensure success in the field. First-day training will equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to perform well.
Shifts & Pay Details:
Full-time shifts: 5+ shifts/week, $25/hour
Part-time shifts: Under 4 shifts/week, $20/hour
Weekend work (Saturday or Sunday) is required; extra $25 for working both weekend days
Top performers will receive gift cards up to $50.
Pay period runs from Monday-Sunday; paychecks issued every Tuesday.
Qualifications:
Must be able to effectively communicate with the public.
Must have a cell phone for field communication.
Must be reliable and able to follow supervisor instructions.
Must be prepared for physical activity—walking and door knocking for extended periods.
