Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall satisfaction of our guests. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning:

Clean, sanitize, and organize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.

Change linens and towels as per hotel policies.

Empty trash and clean wastebaskets.

Inspect rooms to ensure they meet the hotel's quality standards.

Public Area Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other public areas.

Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and functional.

Inventory and Supplies:

Replenish housekeeping supplies and amenities in guest rooms and storage areas.

Report any inventory shortages or damages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Equipment Care:

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and carts.

Report any malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate department.

Guest Service:

Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met.

Handle lost-and-found items following hotel procedures.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and tools.

Report any hazards, damages, or repairs needed in guest rooms or public areas.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
