Reporting to the onsite supervisor, you will assist in site preparation, material handling, and general construction tasks. This position offers opportunities for cross-training in specific work areas, making it a great fit for those looking to gain diverse construction experience.What you'll doA General Laborer at our company plays a crucial role in maintaining job site operations and ensuring project efficiency. Key responsibilities include:Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and maintaining a safe workspace.Load, unload, and transport construction materials as directed.Assist in the construction or demolition of structures under the guidance of supervisors.Direct traffic at or near job sites to maintain safety protocols.Maintain and store tools and equipment in designated areas.Perform other general labor tasks as assigned to support project completion.Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to OSHA safety protocols.Travel to job sites as required; housing and per diem compensation will be provided.QualificationsDefinite Requirements:1–3 years of experience working on active construction sites.General commercial construction experience.Reliable transportation to and from job sites.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, and lift heavy materials as needed.Must own and wear required safety gear, including a hard hat, boots, high-visibility vest or shirt, and eye protection.Basic understanding of construction vocabulary and terminology.Ideal Candidate Attributes:Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.Strong work ethic and dependability in adhering to schedules and assignments.Flexibility to travel to various job sites as required.Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.PI270481904 Apply
