Personal Care Assistant - Part-time

Offering a part-time caregiver position for the right person. Must live within the Ormond Beach and surrounding vicinity. Client is an independent 38-year-old single dad with a spinal cord injury quadriplegic; who lives a very active life raising his two teenage sons. He drives, exercises, plays sports – wheelchair rugby and enjoys going out on the river with his ponton boat. Care required, transferring with hoyer, bowel and bladder care, assist with shower and getting dressed/undressed. Client is in a power wheelchair, has an electric hoyer, shower chair and roll-in shower. Basic meal preparation required and light housekeeping. References or resume listing experience helpful. MUST LIKE DOGS! Background check may be required if references are not available. Nursing or Health Care students welcome to apply; client is willing to train. No smoking in the home while on shift. NO Illegal DRUGS or ALCOHOL allowed on premises. Consideration made for applicant that holds a medical cannabis card that is not expired. Must have a valid FL driver’s license and your own transportation. Only night shifts are needed by client and are 9pm – 9am.
