JOB OVERVIEW -We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a non-degreed accountant as a degree is not required to be considered for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Conduct monthly and year-end closing processes.
Prepare live payrolls & quarterly payroll reports.
Prepare sales tax returns and any other filings required for multiple clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience - public accounting experience a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
