Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Davie, Florida, in the Utilities/Infrastructure industry as a Network Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions to meet our business requirements for data, voice, and storage connectivity. Responsibilities: Develop network strategies and architecture for L2/3 capacity to support business requirements for connectivity, capacity, security, resilience, recovery, and access. Design network policies addressing connectivity, capacity, interfacing, security, resilience, recovery, access, and remote access. Produce and maintain specifications, topologies, configuration, and design documentation. Specify user/system interfaces, including validation and error correction procedures, processing rules, access, security, and audit controls. Assess associated risks and specify recovery routines and contingency procedures. Function as a subject matter expert for at least one area of data and voice infrastructure. Manage the network infrastructure for multiple data centers and office locations. Configure and manage Cisco Multi-Site Datacenter ACI/SDN, Nexus 9000, Nexus 7000, and Nexus 5000 switches. Manage Cisco ASR multigigabit routers and advanced IP traffic engineering via OSPF, BGP & EIGRP routing. Configure and manage Cisco ASA, ISE, and AnyConnect VPN. Manage Cisco Enterprise Wireless Controllers with wireless-access-points. Manage Palo Alto Firewalls + Panorama, and FortiNet FortiGate Firewalls + FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer. Manage Site-to-Site VPN via FortiNet FortiGate SDWAN and Palo Alto FW. Work with cloud exchange peering with Amazon Web Services and Azure cloud computing platforms. Manage NetScaler Load Balancers & Infoblox centralized DHCP. Possess knowledge in Cisco Unified Communications Manager and UCCX. Requirements Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Experience with Checkpoint technologies Familiarity with Cisco ASA and Cisco Routers In-depth knowledge of Cisco Technologies Understanding of Computer Hardware systems Expertise in Configuration Management Ability to contribute to Design process Knowledge of Eigrp protocol Experience with Firewall Technologies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in Utilities/Infrastructure industry Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions based upon established guidelines Valid certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or similar would be advantageousTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
