Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Davie, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling medical billing, accounts receivable, customer service, contract compliance, and credentialing duties. This role also requires proficiency in the use of Nexgen, Axiym, and other accounting software systems.Responsibilities: Accurate processing of customer credit applications Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating necessary actions to collect delinquent payments Managing medical billing functions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements Handling accounts receivable tasks, including the recording and tracking of payments Providing exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving inquiries and complaints promptly Ensuring compliance with medical contracts, following all relevant regulations and guidelines Managing medical credentialing processes, maintaining up-to-date records Proficient use of accounting software systems such as Nexgen, Axiym, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing Functions and Cash Activity management Knowledge of Check Processing protocols Ability to use Electronic Medical Record systems Experience in Medical Billing and Medical Coding Ability to adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and systems related to medical accounting.
