Health Advocates Network is hiring a Medical Records Reviewer with at least 2 years of recent experience ! This is a full-time contract position at a nationally recognized hospital located in Coral Springs, FL.
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Shift: Days 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 15 weeks
Responsibilities: The job requires reading medical records, excellent verbal communication skills, and reliability, Microsoft office skills and data entry experience is a must.
PC proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Suites.
Requires strong attention to detail, task-oriented, strong organizational skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to multi-task, self-manage & prioritize the task at hand.
Be a self-starter with little supervision.
Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus!
Medical Records Reviewer Qualification and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) years of experience in any of the following;
Medical Assistant, in a medical office, or Pharmacy Tech, or PCT or similar Experience.
Data Entry
Healthcare environment
Ability to talk to providers and patients
Knowledge in the utilization of various EMR software (preferred)
