If you're enthusiastic about this opportunity, seize the moment and apply today."Job Overview:As a Senior Accountant specializing in Construction Accounting, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing project accounting, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making.Key Responsibilities:

Manage project budgets, costs, and financial performance analysis.

Oversee the preparation of financial reports for construction projects.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project accounting.

Conduct detailed cost analysis for construction projects.

Implement cost control measures to optimize project profitability.

Monitor expenses, variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Implement revenue recognition methods compliant with construction accounting standards.

Ensure proper accounting treatment for long-term contracts and milestones.

Prepare and analyze financial statements related to construction projects.

Generate regular financial reports to support project management decisions.

Stay updated on construction industry accounting standards and regulations.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and guidelines.

Oversee the maintenance of construction-related general ledger accounts.

Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and manage journal entries.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management and operations.

Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).

CPA or relevant professional certification (preferred).

Proven experience in construction accounting roles.

Proficiency in construction accounting software

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
