The Office of the University Registrar has a job opportunity for a Registration Specialist to work at the University of Miami.CORE JOB SUMMARY The Registration Specialist provides general and specialized customer service to students, alumni, supports the University of Miami schools/colleges, the Cane Central Department and other University Departments. The Registration Specialist will participate in the staff rotation for the Cane Central Department. The Registration Specialist will be responsible for normal and specialized record maintenance including retroactive drop and adds; grade changes; the degree conferral process; the UOnline enrollment and withdrawal process and all related enrollment processes; the in-house verification of enrollment, and the National Student Clearinghouse request process for education verifications. They will also handle degree verifications, and requests for proof of attendance for current and former students, Non-UM process, transcript ordering, readmission process, and the Transcript correction and accuracy process. They will also support the cancellation for non-payment and reinstatement process each semester. An employee in this position demonstrates strong knowledge of the policies for the University Registrar’s Office and the University of Miami and ensures compliance in in all areas.CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Manage all registration functions/support for Cane Central Staff; this includes a regular rotation in the Canes Central Office as the Registrar Specialist on-site.

Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff and the university community.

Conduct normal and specialized record maintenance.

Analyze, research and update Student Information System (SIS) to ensure old transcripts are correct.

Coordinate annual or semester specific enrollment processes.

Certify enrollment and graduation status Liaise with UG and GR Schools to foster strong relationships with stakeholders.

Facilitates collaboration between different schools and academic support units throughout the University.

Utilize the flow process to ensure that all on-line requests are moved through the established workflow in a timely manner.

Drafts and initiates correspondence.

Drafts and initiates knowledge articles for Cane Central.

Acts as a liaison to program constituents both within the University of Miami and externally.

Serve as expert in all Registrar functions.
