Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is actively seeking to add an Environmental Scientist to our Coral Gables, Florida office. Our business focuses primarily on providing professional and technical services in engineering design, code consultation, and construction phase services for a wide variety of clients both in the private and public sectors. We execute large and complex engineering projects and provide a comprehensive range of professional planning and design, systems engineering and technical assistance, program and construction management, and operations and maintenance services.This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.

Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories.

Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, and compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

BS in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

General knowledge of the environmental sciences.

Experience using Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).

Experience with specialized software (EVS, GIS, and CADD).

Relevant professional or intern experience.

Offered rate of compensation (Florida locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $48,915.12 - $67,258.28 .
