This commitment ensures the seamless operation of our clients' enterprises across diverse locations.Job SummaryThe Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for overseeing the inventory and availability of tools and equipment within the tool crib facility. This role includes receiving, storing, and issuing tools and materials to employees, ensuring all items are properly accounted for and verified for current calibration. The attendant will perform regular inventory checks, restock supplies as needed, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication are essential for maintaining an efficient and safe tool crib operation. The Tool Crib Attendant will also collaborate with various departments to support operational needs and enhance overall productivity.This position is 100% on-site, and no relocation expenses will be provided.Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and equipment.
Regularly update inventory records and perform periodic audits.
Order and deliver dry ice and other supplies as needed.
Issue tools to employees based on requests, ensure proper documentation, maintain logs of check-outs and returns, and update the database with tool movement.
Verify tools are returned in good condition, handle reports of damage or loss, and conduct regular inspections for wear and tear, reporting any issues.
Ensure tools are within calibration timelines before issuing them to the production floor.
Regularly collect tools from workflows.
Maintain an organized and clean tool crib for efficient tool retrieval and storage.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate tool pickup and delivery.
Inform management of any supply shortages or tool availability issues.
Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Good verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and reporting.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and assist with various tasks as needed.
Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols for handling tools and equipment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory tracking and proper tool maintenance.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of eQuip and/or SAP.
Previous experience operating and manning a tool crib.
Previous experience in inventory management, tools, or warehouse operations.
Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
