Job Description SummaryThe Team Coach will lead a diverse team to achieve production objectives. They will develop and execute leader standard work in a lean manufacturing environment and lead continuous improvement efforts through identification and execution of projects. This position is located onsite at the Clearwater, FL facility and will support second shift operations.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities :
Leadership and development of 40+ experienced front-line manufacturing employees
The people leader will have the ability to hire and develop talent. This includes direct people management responsibility including staffing, performance development, and employee relations.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Expected to use judgment and ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters. Works cross-functionally to arrive at decisions.
Facilitate cross-functional problem solving teams
Facilitate projects that require influencing other functional groups that do not fall within the direct line of reporting
Coach employees on Daily Management processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading people
