Job Title: Immediate Supply Chain ManagerJob DescriptionThe Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and improving material planning, purchasing/supply chain operations, production/repair scheduling, and warehouse/logistic operations. The goal is to ensure an on-time, quality flow of material for uninterrupted production while minimizing inventory costs. As a leader, the focus will be on collaborating with the functional BU Team participants (buyers and planners) to identify problems, use data to understand problems, determine root causes, and develop effective corrective actions.Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage cross-functional, fully integrated planning processes that incorporate make vs buy, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, material, and associated cost elements.
Perform analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage to develop and execute build-to-order and build-to-forecast plans.
Prepare customer delivery reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and use information to proactively communicate potential late deliveries.
Establish and supervise production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production, and reviewing factors that affect schedules.
Develop and execute a sourcing strategy to meet the company’s business growth and sourcing requirements.
Identify, develop, and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet established cost, quality, and delivery targets. Implement and manage systems to evaluate, monitor, and report supplier scorecard performance.
Coordinate and work with quality, design and manufacturing engineering, machining, and assembly operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedules to proactively identify and address any issues.
Participate as a leading manager of the Operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions and coordinate closely with the Business Unit Managers.
Develop long-term goals and objectives for purchasing and planning and track performance using selected KPIs.
Work closely with Business Units and Engineering, as well as BU Managers during new product development/redesign phase to ensure purchased product costs, quality standards, and product availability fall within the established criteria of the Company/Project.

Work EnvironmentThe Supply Chain Manager will work in an office environment with standard hours of 8am to 5pm, following a 9/80 schedule.
