You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that the products meet the required standards and specifications. Your expertise in hardware testing and troubleshooting will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of our defense hardware products.You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of Clearwater, FL site.In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our defense hardware products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards for our customers in the defense industry.RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct testing and qualification of defense hardware products
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of hardware issues
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop test plans and procedures
Document test results and provide recommendations for product improvements
Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
Create and deliver a vision that is aligned with company goals and business needs; set clear objectives; and monitor results.
Some travel may be required to perform testing at outside test facilities
Ability, flexibility, and willingness to work different shifts, flex shifts and alternate work weeks including overtime and weekends on a long-term daily basis as business needs require
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirementsMUST HAVE
High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years of technician experience
Knowledge of defense industry standards and specifications
Experience with environmental testing (temperature, humidity, vibration, etc.)
