Construction Project Manager - Public Works

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to support large-scale public sector construction projects. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of public infrastructure initiatives, from planning and design through execution and close-out. The successful candidate will bring strong project management expertise, technical knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to lead and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.This role requires working onsite at the client’s facility in Clearwater, FL three days per week. Responsibilities:  Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.Oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.Monitor project expenditures and manage contracts to ensure budget compliance.Develop and maintain project schedules; track progress and mitigate delays.Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements.Administer contracts with contractors and vendors.Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and internal departments.Provide technical support and guidance on cost control, value engineering, and constructability.Respond to RFIs and manage flow of project information across teams.Produce formal project status reports and documentation.Lead process improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing.Ensure effective project governance and application of best practices.Support strategic thinking and client relationship development.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable
