Drivers needed, must own 3/4 or 1 ton truck $2.25 a loaded mile (TRAVEL REQUIRED)

Have a 3/4 ton or larger pickup truck? We will be transporting 100s of bunkhouse trailers to hurricane-affected areas in during the 2024 HURRICANE SEASON. If you are interested in helping, please Email me at [email protected]

Looking for individuals to make deliveries using their own 3/4 or 1-ton truck to deliver freight.

This work will require the following:

Must own or rent a 3/4 or 1-ton truck

Must have an 8-inch adjustable class V pintel hitch

Complete an online application and training videos

Knowledge of using GPS

Speak English fluently

Own a smartphone

Valid driver's license

Preferred candidates would be located in VA, NC, SC, FL, & MS

Transport Information:

BCC provides personnel to Recovery Logistics Inc. and has been active in disaster recovery efforts since 2005. We supply bunkhouses and shower trailers to our clients during natural disasters.

Fleet Transport Requirements:

¾ ton or larger truck

Class V trailer hitch

12,000 lb. pull rating

1850 lb. tongue weight rating

Pintle Hitch with 2 5/16 ball

Vertical adjustment of 12”

1850 lb. tongue weight rating

Additional Details:

$2.25 per loaded mile

You will receive a cash payout upon delivery of the trailer, equivalent to $.50 per loaded mile

Final payment will be received two weeks after delivery

These loads are bumper pull with the appropriate requirements

This is contract work to deliver a trailer (sleeper, shower, utility, etc.) from “point A to point B”

No separate payments for mobilization/demobilization, fuel, food, hotels, or labor hours

Mileage will be estimated using Google Maps, but adjustments will be made when detours force a longer route

Loading/unloading should not take longer than 2 hours

These bunkhouses/large campers have a strict maximum speed of 55 miles per hour

Go to www.rlicommander.com/signup/ (Google Chrome works best, but any browser should work).

Type in the passcode: 2079-BCC

This will take you to the Recovery Logistics Sub-Contractor signup form.

Input all your information in the fields.

Click submit at the bottom of the page.

Once you have submitted the form, you will receive an email containing the next steps in the sign-up process and a link to the RLI Commander website.

Click the link in the email. Use your badge number (included in the email) and the password you created to log in. Once logged in, you can navigate your portal and complete some required tasks.
