We are seeking a Psychiatrist for full-time and part-time positions in our Florida locations.Bradenton, Jacksonville, Orlando, Coral Springs, Sarasota, Venice

Onsite and Hybrid options are available along with part time and flexible schedule options

If you are located in Bradenton, FL, you will have the flexibility to work remotely, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. This position is 50/50 remote.You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:

Clean & unrestricted Florida license

Board Certified Psychiatrist

2+ years working in outpatient care

Proven excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required

Preferred Qualifications:

Dually licensed as a mental health and substance use clinician

1+ years of experience in primary care or related settings

Experience facilitating psychotherapy, process, and psycho-educational groups

Experience working with medical provider(s) performing Shared Medical/Behavioral Health Appointments

Experience creating educational materials for the patient and care team and presentations on mental health and substance use topics

Experience with crisis intervention

Experience with Geriatrics or Certified Geriatric Specialist

Experience with health psychology and behavioral medicine

Knowledgeable of hierarchical condition category (HCC) coding

If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter PolicyAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
