Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The position is located in Bradenton, Florida. In this role, you will primarily focus on managing accounts payable tasks and conducting regular credit card reconciliations. You will also be expected to liaise with various departments, such as procurement and accounting, to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.Responsibilities Accurately process incoming invoices received via the email system. Collaborate closely with the procurement department for invoice coding. Use the EDI system to transcribe invoices into the General Ledger. Review, match, and confirm the details of invoices, purchase orders, and other related documents before preparing them for payment. Conduct detailed credit card reconciliations for members of the team. Work in tandem with the large Purchasing Department that supports incoming processing.Requirements Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or related role Demonstrated experience with 3 Way Matching in a financial or accounting context Proficiency in using financial software and databases Strong ability to manage and organize financial records Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex payment issues Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
