Position SummaryAs a Customer & Product Service Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences and efficient product service operations. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, processing orders, handling service-related inquiries, and supporting product servicing activities. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing customer and product service needs.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Administration:Engage with customers via phone and email to understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions.Process purchase and sales orders accurately and efficiently.Generate quotes for services and repair needs.Address customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.Handle inquiries regarding shipment status, billing, warranty claims, and basic product information.Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues promptly.Maintain and update customer records in the database.Product Service Administration:Assist with the kitting, configuration, repair, and calibration of FRS Products.Process service orders, including repair, calibration, and returns.Coordinate with service technicians to track product repairs and ensure timely resolution.Generate shipping documents for FRS Products.Maintain accurate documentation of product servicing activities and customer interactions.Support internal teams with product-related administrative tasks as needed.Qualifications & SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical solutions.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams.Experience in order processing, service coordination, or a similar role is a plus.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction and product service coordination, ensuring seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.Fortive Corporation OverviewFortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
