Ledgent Technology is seeking a

Manual QA Tester in

Boca Raton, Florida.

This opportunity calls for 100% on-site work. Hours are M-F // 8:30 - 5:30

Non-local candidates are encouraged to apply; however, relocation assistance is not provided.

3rd party subcontracting is not an option. All applicants must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will be doing:
  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Manual Quality Assurance Tester
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks
  • MUST have experience creating test cases and test plans.
  • Regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred
