Description Accounts Payable (AP):

Manage the accounts payable team in processing invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and efficiently.

Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable operations, including invoice verification, coding, approval routing, and vendor payments.

Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, resolving any payment discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

Implement and enforce accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitor AP aging reports, analyze payment trends, and forecast cash flow requirements to optimize working capital management.

Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any outstanding balances or discrepancies.

Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to streamline purchasing processes and improve vendor relations.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Manage the accounts receivable team in invoicing customers, applying payments, and managing collections effectively.

Oversee the full cycle of accounts receivable operations, including billing, credit and collections, cash application, and customer reconciliations.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, resolving any billing or payment disputes and addressing customer inquiries promptly.

Implement and enforce accounts receivable policies and procedures to minimize bad debt risk and improve collections efficiency.

Monitor AR aging reports, analyze customer payment trends, and forecast cash receipts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Review and approve credit limits and terms for new and existing customers, in accordance with established credit policies.

Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and improve billing accuracy and timeliness.

General:

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the AP and AR teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track departmental performance and drive process improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to implement system enhancements and process automation initiatives.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to AP and AR processes.

Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including GAAP.

Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
