Collections Specialist

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Boca Raton, Florida. Serving in the Service industry, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. You will be expected to interact with various businesses to facilitate payment processes and to keep our financial records accurate and up-to-date.Responsibilities: Engage in B2B interactions to ensure timely collection of payments Accurately document all collection activities using Lawson and Salesforce Monitor customer accounts for irregularities and potential issues Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner Process customer credit applications with meticulous attention to detail Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records Take proactive action in case of payment delays or discrepancies Utilize your experience in Billing Collection and Commercial Collections to optimize our collection processes. Requirements Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role in the service industry. Proficiency in billing collection practices and procedures. Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial collections. Strong ability to negotiate and resolve outstanding payments amicably. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using collections software and tools. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong analytical skills to assess customer accounts and suggest appropriate actions. Ability to work in high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Willingness to comply with all legal and company policies and procedures related to collections.
