Description

Conduct regular safety inspections of the job site, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs specific to each project.

Provide safety training and orientation to workers, ensuring they understand and adhere to safety procedures.

Investigate accidents and near misses, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

Maintain accurate safety documentation, including inspection reports, training records, and incident reports.

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding safety protocols.

Stay up-to-date on the latest OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.

Serve as a safety advocate, promoting a culture of safety awareness on the job site.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction safety or a related field.

Construction safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, NCCER) preferred.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Strong ability to identify and assess safety risks.

Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
