As a Technical Writer, you will:

Research, compose, review, and revise agreements, including Data Use Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, etc., as well as compose amendments to these agreements as needed

Contact external organizations to propose draft agreements and amendments, respond to questions, track full execution, and file agreements

Aid in the preparation of proposals and ensure that agreements are complete, accurate, and compliant with client requirements

Create accessible documents and PDF forms

Prepare and update templates for use in preparing documents

Assist with other writing-related duties as assigned

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

BA/BS in English, Writing, Science, or related field from an institution considered accredited by U.S. DOE, with a 3.0+ GPA

1-3 years of professional technical or proposal writing or desktop publishing experience

Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications

Knowledge of editing legal agreement documents preferred

Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated professional writing and copy editing skills

Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work within a team
