Same-day Courier Company looking for courier driver to cover the following areas; NOVA, DC, MD.
This posting is for a on demand 1099 contractor position. You will be messaged via text or a phone call to do on demand jobs one to multiple times a day, depending on workload. Most jobs are dispatched before 2-3pm EST. Also potential coverage for a dedicated morning route.
Location: Most jobs come out of Herndon, Chantilly, Aldie, Ashburn
Reimbursement: Ranges from $0.80/mile or up per mile. Pay ranges from $150-$300/week
Job Requirements:
Own Transportation – Reliable and Gas Efficient (Responsible for your own gas & upkeep of your vehicle)
Working smart phone with internet access (iPhone or Android)
Good Driving Record, Valid License, Registration, and Insurance (copy of each needed upon hire)
Able to carry up to 50lbs. (Work involves lifting to and from businesses & residential areas.)
Speaks fluent English with good communication skills
Dress code is business casual
