WINN Design + Build is seeking an experienced senior carpenter who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and enjoys making clients happy.
WHO WE ARE
WINN Design + Build is a team of architects, interior designers and craftsmen specializing in upscale residential design and construction in the DC Metro area. With an eye for creativity and the muscle to build well, our team can fully integrate architecture, interiors, landscaping and construction methods. The end result for our clients is a highly personalized home from the inside out, with well-developed space planning, careful detailing and high-quality construction. We specialize in upscale remodels, major additions and new custom homes for discerning clients.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Become a key member within the overall production team
- Attend client meetings and lead day-to-day project activities
- Showcase your talents with your amazing finish carpentry skills!
- Manage in-house support carpenters/helpers and subcontractors
- Continue to impress everyone around you by knocking the schedule out of the park!
- In collaboration with our in-house design team, identify potential issues and assist in developing solutions
- Drive quality during all phases of a project
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
- Technical skills - you know how to put a house together!
- 5+ years of residential remodeling experience
- Your own tools and truck/van
- A positive attitude with a sense of humor
- Excellent organizational skills and follow-through ability
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of construction means and methods through all phases
HOURS + BENEFITS / PAY
Wages start at $36 to $41/hour. We also offer an extensive benefits package, including:
