Millennium Pools and Spas LLC is looking for an experienced service mechanic to perform work throughout the DMV area. Millennium provides residential and commercial service, maintenance, renovation, and construction throughout Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland.
This position is permanent and provides guarantee work throughout the year with a high potential for overtime hours during the open season. Pay is based on level of experience. Service Mechanics qualify for company benefits after three months.
Duties and Tasks:
Fitting and repairing pipes and plumbing for pools, spas, and fountains
Diagnose, repair/replace, and maintain pumps, filters, chlorinators, gas/electric heaters
Use chemicals in the treatment of water for pools, spas, and fountains belonging to individual households, communities such as hotels or unit complexes, as well as councils and hospitals.
Work independently or with an assistant on worksites to maintain and service swimming pools, spas, and fountains.
Maintain inventory of stock in work truck and ensure tools are kept in good order
Consistently and effectively utilize company phone app in order to receive, process, and complete jobs.
Requirements:
Clean Driving Record for the last five years
Reliable transportation to and from office
Flexible schedule with willingness to work weekends during the busy season
Able to lift 50lbs
Working Conditions:
Most work will be performed outside throughout the year. This includes but is not limited to working in hot/cold temperatures and on rainy days. This position also requires driving during the day to different jobsites, oftentimes during high traffic times. This position is full time and year around. The busiest time of our season is from April 15th through July 4th with a little slow down through the middle of October. During this time, it is likely that you will receive overtime hours. You can expect that during the off season, you will still have work, however, overtime may not be available.
