Hey, throwback here, I've been busy raising a family for 2 decades and now I'm looking for someone to get me up to speed on some tools I have acquired over the years. Non CNC, I'm making small parts by hand gravening on Watchmakers Lathes and I mostly need these larger machines, a SB Hvy-10 and a Burke Milrite 3/4 mill to rough out parts for the Watchmakers lathe to finish as well as to chip a bit of aluminum out of a spool blank. I require this to be at my shop in the form of private lessons so obviously I'll remunerate accordingly. I do not expect this to be "cheap" and I'm guessing I'll need someone for about 10 hours at a minimum (this could be a couple hours at a time over a number of weeks) and will probably want to keep a relationship after the "lessons" to deal with whatever issues arise in my projects. I figure there's got to be somebody out there for whom this is a good fit. I am retired so odd hours are fine with me. I have made small fishing rod parts on a smaller SB-9 and now want to move up to making ferrules and small fishing reels. Respond to the CL reply with a number to text and I'll be in touch right away.
