Experienced Installer of Adhesive Vinyl Graphics and Custom Mounted Signs
We are seeking an experienced Installer of Custom Mounted Signs and Adhesive Vinyl Graphics to join our team! You will install signs and graphics in a variety of commercial, retail, event and venue environments within a 40 mile radius of Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
Install custom vinyl graphics and a wide variety of custom signs and displays at locations in the Washington, DC area and surrounding metro area within 90 minute drive.
Work with the project managers and production team to inventory and ensure that the provided materials will allow for a successful install at the client’s location on or before the due date or time requested by the client.
Interact with and effectively communicate with the client or site manager, representing the client, to ensure that the install was successfully accomplished.
Take pictures and video of pre- and post-install of signs and graphics before concluding assignment.
Practices good housekeeping skills at conclusion of each install.
Maintain your equipment and transportation provided in excellent condition and cleanliness.
Successfully use software tools, via iPad provided, for scheduling, communication of successful completion of installs and site surveys as well as assigned deliveries.
Send filled out recap sheet after every install with accurate info and times
Qualifications:
3M, Oracal, Mac Tac, General Formulations and/or Avery install certifications would be helpful for a successful candidate for this position.
Seeking an experienced installer of vinyl graphics and custom mounted signs and displays.
Working experience in wide format print production and fabrication would be a plus.
Outstanding driving record required as all installs will require driving of company supplied vehicle to job sites within a 90 minute radius of Washington, DC and Northern Virginia
Must have a good understanding of driving in and around the Washington DC area and can navigate the challenges of traffic and parking issues that come with this work zone.
Must be able to learn how to use wet and dry applications as well as heating and contouring of vinyl graphics on vehicles and wide variety of smooth and uneven surfaces of varying composition.
Must have experience work with power tools to drill and anchor to interior and exterior concrete and dry wall surfaces.
Comfortable using ladders and/or lifts, as appropriate, for installs above shoulder heights.
Must be able to work well independently but also directing small to larger install teams as necessary.
Must be able to communicate well and know the value of teamwork
Math knowledge and reading a tape measure for laying out signage
