We’re on the lookout for an In-Home Improvement Contractor for Residential and Light Commercial servicing primarily Laurel, Columbia, Bowie and surrounding areas. It’s important you’re versed in many areas of home improvement to meet the demands of our rapidly growing base of satisfied customers – they mean everything to us. We have year-round work with over 50% of a repeat/referral customer base and are seeking experienced Craftsmen and Technicians with a variety of home improvement skills to support the growth of our business. Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a craftsman ideally operating as an independent contractor. He would have expertise in multiple types of home repair, maintenance and home improvement. You must be organized, and effectively communicate with homeowners and the front office staff, as well as follow all company policies. The kind of person we need to add to our team would possess many or all of the following trades:
General Home Repairs and Maintenance Work
General Carpentry - Rough and Finish
Drywall Repair / Patching / Caulking
Painting Interior and Exterior
Grouting and caulking in kitchen and bathroom areas
Furniture assembly
Minor electrical
Minor Plumbing
Deck repairs, and rehab including power washing and staining
Gutter, and siding repair
Window and door installation
Masonry
Flooring Repair and Installation including ceramic tile, laminate, LVT, LVP, vinyl, and hardwood
Bathroom and Kitchen Upgrades / Remodel including shower and bath reconstruction or installation. Knowledge of Schluter Systems a plus.
Kitchen Refresh / Remodel
All candidates should be confident in the following areas:

Knowledge of Building Codes
Correct material selection
Qualifications and Requirements
Must be proficient in the English language. Be able to successfully communicate both in writing and speaking
Must have proof of General Liability insurance or be willing to obtain it
Education - High School diploma or greater
Valid Driver's License and Insurance on the vehicle
Must be able to estimate work that you are qualified to perform
Must have tools, late model work truck or cargo van
Must have a smart phone and access to the internet
