We are seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead our commercial electrical projects, supervise crews, and ensure that all installations are completed to the highest standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily operations on commercial electrical job sites.
Lead a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality control.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams for commercial buildings.
Plan and execute electrical installations, including power distribution, lighting systems, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety standards, and local building codes.
Coordinate work schedules, job assignments, and material procurement to meet project deadlines.
Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and repairs for commercial electrical systems.
Maintain clear communication with project managers, general contractors, and clients.
Perform inspections and quality checks to verify proper installation and adherence to specifications.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including time tracking, material usage, and work progress reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (State-specific certification required).
5+ years of commercial electrical experience, with 2+ years in a leadership/foreman role.
Legal authorization to work in the United States (valid work permit or U.S. citizenship/residency required).
Fluent in English (native or advanced proficiency) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Spanish is preferred to facilitate communication in diverse work environments.
Strong knowledge of commercial power systems, electrical distribution, lighting controls, emergency systems, and fire alarms.
Experience working on large-scale commercial projects, including retail spaces, office buildings, restaurants, and industrial facilities.
Proficiency in conduit bending, panel wiring, motor controls, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
Valid driver’s license.
