We are searching for a reliable Electrician Helper to join our team. An electrician helper assists electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Duties will include gathering materials, preparing work areas, and providing support during installations and repairs. They will also perform basic electrical tasks under supervision, such as wiring and troubleshooting. Additionally, they ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean work environment.
Electrician Helper Responsibili1es:
Performing basic tasks such as drilling holes, pulling wire, and stripping insulation.
Assisting with troubleshooting electrical problems and identifying potential hazards.
Learning basic electrical concepts and techniques under the supervision of experienced
electricians.
Providing support in preparing and organizing electrical projects.
Following instructions and directions from electricians to complete tasks efficiently and
accurately. Following safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Electrician Helper Requirements:
Physical work: Must be able to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, aFcs, and in Gght spaces.
Good Communication Skills: Effective communication with coworkers and customers is
essential for coordinating tasks and ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Spanish/bilingual preferred.
Willingness to Learn: Electrician helper should be eager to learn and open to receiving
instruction from experienced electricians to develop their skills and knowledge in the field.
Punctuality and Reliability: Being punctual and reliable is important in the construction
industry, as projects often have tight deadlines and schedules to meet.
Driver’s License: Preferred but not required. If you do not have a driver’s license, prefer
candidate to live within 15 minutes from Arlington, VA.
Interest in Electricity: Electrical work is very technical, exact, and mundane. It is crucial that you
respect the trade and power of electricity. We will be powering up enGre homes and someGmes businesses. Must be a serious candidate that wants to learn the electrical trade.
Pay and Benefits:
Pay is weekly.
We are open Monday through Saturday. A typical day starts 8:30am-4:30pm. Working hours
vary depending on demand.
Starting off, you can expect to work 30-40 hours per week. It may be more, depending on
demand.
