We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Shampoo Assistant. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the beauty industry and looking to start their career in a salon environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist stylists and other salon personnel in providing exceptional hair care services to clients.
Shampoo, condition, and rinse clients' hair using appropriate products and techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of shampoo area and salon tools.
Greet clients and provide them with exceptional customer service throughout their salon experience.
Assist in laundry duties, such as washing and folding towels and capes.
Keep track of inventory and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
Follow salon policies and procedures to ensure a safe and professional work environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a salon or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of hair care products and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior salon staff.
